In order to be recognized in the Republic of Moldova, the documents issued by the public institutions of the Portuguese Republic, Kingdom of Morocco (birth, marriage, death, divorce, adoption, paternity and medical certificates, criminal records, deeds, articles of incorporation etc) or authenticated by public notaries (powers of attorney, declarations, affidavits, confirmations, contracts etc) have to be confirmed with the Apostille stamp. Thus, these documents DO NOT need to be legalized at the Moldovan Embassy.
